Image parallax

A full-bleed picture drifts slower than the page inside a fixed frame.

Use it for: Trades and landscapers with one strong wide photo (rooftop, finished yard, van on the street); restaurants.
How: <div data-fx="parallax" style="aspect-ratio:16/9;--px-range:90px"><img>. Give the frame a size; the image is oversized by the range so edges never show.
Weight: 1.5 KB gzipped (CSS + JS), no dependencies

Compositor-driven

No scroll listener in Chrome, Edge and Safari 26

CSS animation-timeline: view() runs it off the main thread. Older browsers (pre-Safari 26 iPhones) get a light rAF fallback on desktops only; phones without support just see a still photo.
